That was some hockey final to watch on the just concluded Vancouver Olympics. Made memorable by the rise and rise of the US Men’s Hockey team, right? Did we give these young men a chance when the Games began? Did we think we would be rooting for them in the final? Canada won, but somehow, our defeat didn’t look too bad, did it?
Looks like something similar is brewing in the March Madness. What is the University of South Florida up to? They have upset Pittsburgh at home, won at Georgetown and have now four wins in a row. Will they get in? Just a thought.
Here is a list of “clinched ones”. Do you agree?
Gonzaga Bulldogs, Butler Bulldogs, Northern Iowa Panthers, Cornell Big Red, Georgetown
Can we say the following have a 100% chance?

Do the following have a “fighting” chance?
Siena, Old Dominon, Wichita State, UTEP. And I’m going to include the Marquette in this category. Also Notre Dame, definitely. Not very sure of Louisville, though.
These ones don’t seem to have the slightest chance.
Louisana Tech Bulldogs, Murray State Racers, Illinois State Redbirds, Memphis Tigers, Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, Marshall Thundering Herd, VCU Rams, Northern Colorado Bears.
And don’t forget, March Madness is on at this website.
